Galway Races Live

Galway racecourse features a right-handed track of around one miles and 2 furlongs in length and uniquely it has a steep downhill leading into the last 2 fences, which are the 2 closest fences in the world and are followed by a sharp uphill to the finish line.

This unique finish often makes Galway races a close and exciting finish.

There are many popular races held at Galway each year with the Galway Plate, the Galway Hurdle and the Ballybrit Novice Chase the most notable.
