Originally launched back in 2004, the former Racing UK was rebranded as Racing TV in part to compete with the newly formed Sky Sports Racing tv channel and also to indicate the new range of programming available to watch on the channel with action from not only the United Kingdom available to watch but also races from the Republic of Ireland, North America and France.
